Finding Peace & Ease By: David Korn
It is believed that we can find peace in ourselves through our thoughts. There is a brief, fleeting moment in between our thoughts that provide peace. In order to extend the peaceful feeling, we have to learn to let go. Not everything is within our control and we can only do what we can to take care of dilemmas. In order to let go, we must be aware of our needs, desires, and wants. Once we determine these in our minds, we can stop acting on those urges. As a result, you can sit back and relax while the thoughts whiz by in your head. Some also find faith to be of help in this case. Sure, many have different ways of letting go. But, one of the best ways to let go is non-attachment to our thoughts. Despite the hardest times, people manage to find peace within them. Many have belief systems in place that allow them to find peace and ease. Most notably, learn to separate yourself from your thoughts that are screaming at you. This will take time and effort, but over time peace will come forth. |
