Discover Your Life Purpose

By: David Korn

Many of us ponder the purpose of life. We try to find meaning in our life through various beliefs or methods. Figuring out your life purpose may not be so easy at first. And worst of all, there may be no definitive answer. But, that doesn’t mean that we can’t create our own life purpose. It can be a great discovery once it is unveiled.

Many people find purpose and meaning through religion or faith. They dedicate their whole lives to this and find fulfillment. Many attend religious services, rituals, prayer, and so on to fulfill their life purpose. It is important to note that we aren’t perfect so mistakes will be made along this path. However, this can be a very noble purpose in which to pursue.

Living for other people can be very meaningful. Many people have family, friends, and so on that they dedicate their lives to. Some even dedicate their lives to their careers as well. Living for people that are close to you can bring forth happiness. This can be helpful in the event one wishes to give up on themselves. Instead, they can do it for others since they are cared for by them.

Some people find purpose in life through a cause or multiple causes. This can also keep them going as they feel they have a mission to complete. Many would even sacrifice their lives for certain causes. This can result in passion and dedication to what they are trying to do. However, it is important that the cause is a noble one. Many times we see that causes are questionable in the eyes of others. Therefore, serving the good of mankind is what to achieve.

Some people like to give their life purpose a lot of thought. Some aren’t as interested since it may be difficult to answer. However, you can come up with a good purpose that will keep you and others happy. Finding meaning in life is not hard at all and everyone will have their own opinion and goals. Perhaps all the answers are closer than we think. But, it sure makes life very interesting along the way.
